The XT-IDE PCB can be obtained via email (address on the discussion thread) and the parts from Jameco Electronics.

Notes:

  • Confirm with Jameco that Atmel EEPROM will be supplied, as SEEQ EEPROMs are not supported.
  • One row of the 16-pin header (109568) will be seperated and used for the LED


In the UK, parts can be sourced from Farnell (http://uk.farnell.com). Note however that their DIL sockets are extremely expensive, but can be sourced elsewhere cheaply (i.e. eBay). The below parts list will cost around £15.

Errata

The design includes a 10k pull-up or pull-down resistor (R6) for IDE pin 28 (CSEL). However this should be directly attached to ground at the controller - the drives include a 10k pull-up. This can be resolved by replacing R6 with a zero-ohm resistor and placing jumper K1 at position 'L'.
